MAGICIAN ESCAPES INJURY IN PERFORMING DEATH DEFYING FEAT AT VEGAS MAGIC SCHOOL

 

Las Vegas, NV – February 2006:  When Tom Meseroll, “The Martial Magician” wanted to amaze his fellow classmates at a recent session of Jeff’s McBride’s Magic & Mystery School, he enlisted the aid of Washington magician, “The Mystical Magical Telemus” – as a chopping block!  First Meseroll had Telemus remove his shirt and lie on his back atop a small bench.  He then placed a 25 lb. watermelon on Telemus’ midsection.  Meseroll sealed his eyes behind putty, two large coins taped over the eyes, a blindfold and a hood that covered his entire head himself, grabbed a razor-sharp samurai sword, and cleft the watermelon completely with a single blow. Although several of the gathered audience screamed at the moment the blade descended, Telemus himself never batted an eye.  As Meseroll began to remove his blindfold, Telemus took a deep breath, sat up, and was surprised to find himself with not so much as a scratch.  Onlookers where stunned to learn that Mr. Meseroll and Telemus performed this terrifying feat unrehearsed. They had only talked briefly before the actual event. Witnesses included master magicians Jeff McBride, Eugene Burger, and other Master Class members.

 

Mr. Meseroll and Telemus have some things in common.  A martial arts background with advanced weapons training and both have careers  working  with The Boeing Company. Meseroll in Southern Ca and Telemus in Everett Wa.
